Tuna Bisket

Postby topsgt » Sun Jan 24, 2010 11:02 am

The wife makes a quick meal she calls Tuna Biskets.

Take large canned biskets (She uses Grands)

Stretch biskets out till they are about 3 inches across.

Brush butter one side of each bisket.

Mix Tuna from a can with miracle whip (Mayo if you don't have miracle whip)

Put a large spoon full of Tuna mix on the buttered side of a bisket

Top with shredded cheddar cheese

Take another bisket and place butter side down on the cheese.

Mash the edges of the biskets together to form a pocket.

Place on cookie sheet sprayed with Pam.

Bake at 350 degrees till bisket is golden brown.

If done right the you will end up with a hot pocket of Tuna Fish and Cheese.

Easy and Quick

If cooked too long the bottom of the pocket will be hard. Eat the top and use the hard bottom for a frizbee to feed the birds in the back yard.

Sounds yummy. Ive never used tuna before but we've done this with a taco mixture with meat, salsa, cheddar cheese, or a pizza style with pepperoni, mozeralla, and pizza sauce. You can also use canned cherry or pie filling and after baking top with powdered sugar or some powdered sugar glaze.

Ya know, I was wondering what I was going to make for dinner tonight. Now I know!
Funny how falling feels like flying. For a little while.

I don't like hard or burned bisket.
