Ya know, I'm not having these troubles and I'm using 3 different computers. I wonder if it could be caused by your ISPs and their IP lease renewal strategy. I have a dynamic IP (nearly all of us end users do) which means it could be released and given to someone else, and I would get a new IP, but that doesn't happen. Unless I "reset" my router, it will have the same IP all day everyday. Just guessing.

As some of you may recall I have had lots of trouble staying logged into this site, but only this site. I may have discovered the root of the trouble. I'm running a Mac and in the Safari Preference section in the Autofill I didn't have the User and Password button selected. I just changed it, but I believe and hope it will solve my log in problems, stay tuned.

I hope so Evo, but I dont think so. Autofill only keeps a copy of your login information and auto fills the fields for you. It has nothing to do with remembering who you are once youre logged in.
Are you still having problems?

Oh yeah, still have to log in about every 6th time coming to this site, and have even been logged out when switching to other posts. It only happens on my Mac, on Safari, and only on this site. My other computers running Windows have no trouble, in fact I'm always logged in when I visit.

Maybe I'll try Firefox on my Mac, and see if it's any better.

Well, I think we can safely say it is Safari and Mac's fault.

I have to agree with Blackcloud, that this is a Safari issue with this site. But now since I changed up my Autofill it enters my username and password but I still have to log in every 6th or 8th time, and have even been bumped off switching from one post to another.

This new autofill fix, however is way easier and faster than having to switch to Firefox just to check out this site. My online banking and Safari do not get along either, that's the only time I fire up Firefox.
